In In vitro fertilisation or IVF, the eggs are inseminated with high concentration of sperms. This results in fertilisation of the eggs and creation of embryos. Implantation of one or more of these embryos results in pregnancy. It is particularly relevant for couples who are facing difficulties with conceiving after having tried naturally for reasonable period of time.
