Patients can have their treatment monitoring in Canary wharf, but will have to travel to Central London for procedures such as insemination, egg collection and embryo transfer. By carefully assessing your situation as a couple, our consultant will suggest different ways in which you can increase your chances of getting pregnant. Some may successfully conceive naturally or with simpler fertility treatments. This helps us in making sure that when our patients are going through IVF, this is the most appropriate and effective fertility treatment option.

Dedicated to conceiving your dreams, Dr Shipra Krishna, fertility specialist and IVF doctor, will be with you at every step of your fertility treatment.

Dr Krishna is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Fertility. She also worked as a Consultant Gynaecologist at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Prior to founding London IVF and Genetics Centre, she worked as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Specialist in Reproductive Medicine at CARE Fertility as well as Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health (CRGH). She also sees patients at Milton Keynes and Lycahealth Canary Wharf and Orpington.

Dr Krishna is extensively experienced in managing both female and male infertility across the whole range of complexity. She has a particular interest in the management of patients with recurrent implantation failure and poor responders. She has worked alongside leading experts in recurrent implantation failure and reproductive immunology. As a fertility expert/fertility specialist, Dr Krishna is passionate about bringing the latest science and research to her patients to give them their very best chance of success.

Dr Krishna had a distinguished career in NHS and independent sector. She trained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in reputed NHS hospitals and academic centres in London and Wessex. She did her Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, where she gained wide-ranging experience in Reproductive Medicine including fertility preservation in cancer patients, assisted fertility treatments and reproductive endocrinology. Throughout her training, she published and presented data at national and international meetings.

Dr Krishna constantly keeps herself updated with the latest research and perfects the techniques that she performs. Her patients benefit not only from her particular expertise, but also her extensive experience in performing fertility procedures with different types of patients having a range of complex challenges in conceiving. Dr Krishna is firmly committed to educating and empowering her patients and passionate about providing the best medical experience in this stressful process. By simplifying complex clinical concepts, interventions and treatments, she readies her patients to make informed choices at every step of their treatment journey. All of this together results in the very best outcomes for her patients.
