Do fertility clinics take insurance?

Its an insurance industry wide standard, not just in the UK, but world-wide that the majority of the insurance providers do not support any fertility treatment. It is extremely rare where I have come across that

It is extremely rare where I have come across that insurance providers may cover consultation and very few diagnostic tests such as the fallopian tube check, semen analysis and blood tests for things such as AMH and FSH. This is usually part of employee benefits.

The take home message really is that insurance providers do not support fertility treatments. The practice at the majority of the fertility clinics including London IVF and Genetics Centre is that the patients pay up front for the treatment and the consultations. However, we will support them in getting reimbursed by filling out the forms that may be required to get reimbursement from insurance providers.
